Roasted red pepper on crusty garlic butter and parmesan bread
I made this one evening to use up the last bit of a loaf of bread I’d made that was going stale. I don’t actually have any tips for this because it was so so easy.
Method 🍷
1. Preheat your oven to 200
2. Chop and de-seed your peppers in to halves lengthways. Brush them with oil, lay them on a baking sheet and put them in the oven for a good 20 minutes until their skins have charred slightly
3. Slice up your bread and crush your garlic
4. Melt the butter in the microwave and mix the garlic in to it
5. Spread the butter on the bread and grate some Parmesan over it. Put them in the oven to toast for 5 minute while you peel the charred skins off the peppers
7. Season the peppers with some salt and pepper and lay on the toasted bread
8. Grate some extra parmesan and basil over the top and serve
