✨Key Lime Pie Baked Oats✨
All I can say is…WOW. This flavor definitely surprised me with how amazing it was!
I got this idea from my mom, because she said that this was a flavor she wanted to try when I visit her, so I had to try it out for myself and I would definitely make this again!!! It made my whole apartment smell so good too! 🥰🥧
1/2 cup oats (I used thepinoleproject original)
1/2 cup milk (I used protein flax milk)
1/2 ripe banana
1 scoop vanilla protein powder (I used nuzest lilsipper vanilla plant based protein)
1 tsp baking powder
Pinch of salt
Juice of 1 whole lime
Lime zest from 1 whole lime
1 tsp lemon extract
1 tablespoon cream cheese (I used kitehillfoods DF cream cheese)
Pour mixture into a greased ramekin and top with more lime zest.
Bake at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 20 minutes.
I recommend topping this with crushed up cookies! Biscoff would be amazing, but as a Gluten free alternative I used simplemills Toasted Pecan almond flour cookies and they were amazing on this! 😍
