Gochujang Chicken

Anyone else starting their New Years resolutions on the 14th March?

Gochujang is a sweet, spicy chilli paste that you’ll find in a red tub in most Asian supermarkets and it’s a game changer

Ingredients:
Chicken breast pieces
3 tbsp gochujang
3 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp water
3 tbsp brown sugar
3 tbsp sesame oil
2 cloves of garlic
2 tbsp vegetable oil
Sesame seeds
Chives/spring onions

Method 👩‍🍳
– Combine the gochujang, soy sauce, sugar, water, garlic and sesame oil in a bowl.
– marinade the chicken in 5tbsp of the sauce mixture for at least 10 minutes
– heat the veg oil in a frying pan over a medium heat
– add the chicken and fry for 5 minutes or so
– turn the heat up to high and add the remaining sauce
– fry for another 5-10 minutes until sauce has thickened and chicken is cooked through
– serve with sesame seeds and chopped chives or spring onion
