✨Birthday Cake Baked Oats✨
This baked oats had me SHOOK! I was trying to think of flavors to make and came up with birthday cake. I honestly thought it was going to be pretty basic, but it was anything but! 😋 It can now be your birthday any day you want with these baked oats.
I actually made this recipe with NO banana, and used sweet potato instead! And now I want to use sweet potato for all of my baked oats. It was incredible! 👌🏼
So if you’re someone who is allergic to banana, doesn’t like banana, or just wants to try an alternative option to get a similar thickness and sweetness for your baked oats, use sweet potato!
I cube up my potato (make sure to get the white sweet potato), and roast mine in the oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 30 minutes. I let it cool, and then I freeze it to use in smoothies and now baked oats! Give it a try, it is so worth it! 😍👍🏻
1/2 cup oats (I used thepinoleproject original)
1/2 cup milk (I used protein flax milk)
1/3 cup previously roasted cubed sweet potato
1 scoop vanilla protein powder (I used nuzest_usa lilsipper vanilla plant protein)
1 tsp baking powder
Pinch of salt
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp cashew butter
Pour mixture into greased ramekin, and then mix in 1 tablespoon of sprinkles.
Bake at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 20 minutes.
1 tablespoon cream cheese (I used kitehillfoods DF cream cheese)
1/2 tablespoon yogurt (I used foragerproject vanilla)
Splash of vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon sweetener (I used coconutsecretofficial coconut nectar)
Top your birthday cake oats with your frosting and sprinkle with more sprinkles!!!
