✨Apple Pie Baked Oats✨
Okay I think I’ve officially perfected this recipe. This is AMAZING. Sautéed apples in baked oats is just….👌🏼
This one takes a little more time because you have to sauté the apples for about 15 minutes so that they’re perfectly tender, but it’s sooo worth it!
I mean, just look at this!!
1/2 cup oats (I used thepinoleproject)
1/2 cup milk (I used good karma vanilla protein flax milk)
1/2 ripe banana
1 scoop vanilla protein powder (I used nuzest_usa lilsipper vanilla plant based probiotic protein)
1 tsp baking powder
Pinch of salt
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp vanilla extract
Chop up half of an apple into small chunks and sauté in a pan over medium heat with 1/2 tbls butter, lots of cinnamon and 1/4 cup water for about 15 minutes until tender.
Pour the oat batter into a greased ramekin and mix in 3/4 of the apples into the batter, and top it with remaining apples. Top with chopped Pecans and sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon!
Bake at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 18 minutes and enjoy these warm apple pie baked oats! 🥰🥰🥰
