✨Apple Pecan Pie Baked Oats✨
Mmm this was so yummy and decadent! I’ve made apple pie baked oats before, but it’s been waaaay too long!
This recipe takes a little extra time than others, because you need to sauté the apples, but it’s definitely worth it!
I added some cinnamon cream cheese topping on top and it changed the game also!
Try it out! 😍
Chop up 1/2 of an apple, sprinkle with a ton of cinnamon, and sauté it in a pan with 1/2 tbls butter and 1 tbls water over medium heat. Sauté for about 10 minutes and keep adding tablespoons of water as needed to keep from burning! Apples should be soft and sweet after 10 mins.
1/2 cup thepinoleproject original oatmeal
1/2 cup milk of any kind
1 scoop vanilla protein powder (I like gardenoflife vanilla plant protein)
1/2 ripe banana
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp ginger powder
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp baking powder
Pinch of salt
Pour mixture into a greased ramekin and mix in your sautéed apples and crumble up some praline pecans on top.
Bake at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 20 mins.
While it’s baking, mix together 1 tbls cream cheese (I used DF kitehillfoods), 1 tsp agave nectar and a sprinkle of cinnamon.
Top your beautiful baked oats with the cream cheese frosting when it’s done baking, and voila!!! Enjoy this masterpiece of a breakfast! 😍
